 I am Sharon Sortino. I  was born in Martinez Ca, and grew up in Concord Ca. I worked in the Airline business in San Francisco, until 1978. I then left the Bay Area in 1978 to become a resident of the Reno/Sparks for the past 35 years. I worked for the Nevada branch of CSAA as a auto and homeowners adjuster. I met my husband Michael not long after and together with his family owned Spaughi's Italian Inn located in Reno along with the Sage Brush Cantina in Verdi. I have a 23 year old son Justin.  My Real Estate business started 4 1/2 years ago with Prudential Nevada Realty - Reno.

 I love this place and I know you will too, there is so much to do! sking only 1/2 hr away, as of April 23rd we now have a new AAA Baseball Stadium in downtown Reno the AAA team is called the Reno Aces they are the Arizona Diamondbacks farm team, also the Farmers Market, Rib Cook Off and Hot August Nights in Sparks to the Great Reno Balloon Race, Chicken Wing, Chili Cookoff and Italian Festival in Reno! WOW ! you will stay active and you won't starve here!! But a favorite of mine is how our State Flower the Sagebrush bursts out in yellow in the fall and smells so fresh after a thunder shower anywhere in Washoe County.

The U.S. Congress has approved a bill that extends and broadens tax credits. The bill extends the $8000First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit for contracts signed by April 30th and closing by Sept 30th. Income limits are expanded to cover more affluent buyers; couples earning up to $225,000 and individuals earning up to $125,000 annually now qualify. It also creates a new $6,500 credit for buyers who have owned thier current home for at least 5 years.
Homes worth more than $800,000 wouldn't be eligible.
